Happy 4th! Independence Day events happening around Sellersburg, Indiana.
The Sellersburg Pool will hold an Independence Day Pool Party from 11 am – 6 pm with $1 hotdogs and ice cream.
Hamburg Church of Christ will hold a 4th of July Celebration with a cookout, games and fireworks following a church service. The event will be held from 7-10 pm, the church is located at 8921 Newberry Road.
The Farmer’s Market will still be held this week from 1-4 pm, but with added features for the holiday. Stop by for your produce and stay for entertainment, Kona Ice, vendors and more.
Covered Bridge will host an Independence Day Celebration beginning at 5:30 pm at the Covered Bridge Clubhouse. Fireworks, Live Music & Grill Out. Grill open from 5:30pm-9:30pm. A la Carte Menu Style. Desserts available, too. Entertainment provided by Sarah Stivers Band – all your favorite music and fun for all! Fireworks start at dark. This event is co-sponsored by Covered Bridge G.C. & Covered Bridge.
Sellersburg’s Annual Independence Day Parade will kick of at 2:00 pm, beginning at Haas Cabinet and ending at the American Legion in Sellersburg.
The American Legion will be offering a Pork Chop or Fried Chicken Dinner from 11:30 – 6:00 pm. Follow the parade over for dinner and stay for the fireworks. There will also be gaming, a cake wheel, and a raffle for guns and cash. The raffle, dinner and donations support the legion and the purchase of the fireworks for the show. The American Legion Post 204 is located at 412 New Albany Street in Sellersburg.
The Annual Fireworks Show at the American Legion will kick off at sundown.
“EVERYONE is welcome to join us at the Sellersburg Legion Post 204 on July 4th for a great fireworks display, “Thunder over Post 204″. We will have fried pork chop/chicken dinners for dine-in or take out. We will also have additional food, music, and much more! There is no admission fee for the parade or the fireworks. Parade begins at 2pm and the fireworks start at dusk. Bring your family, your friends, your neighbors, or even your enemies and join us for a fun patriotic filled day honoring our Nation!”
