The Pirates head to Clarksville next Friday, August 31st for another away game, facing the Generals for 7pm kickoff.
Pirate Fun Run this Saturday Morning
Packet Pick-Up begins at 6:30AM right at the entrance of the CHS football field.
Race Day Registration will also begin at 6:30AM. Race Day Registration closes at 7:30AM. If someone attempts to register on the day of the race after 7:30AM, we cannot guarantee their information will be entered into the timing system.
The 5K Race begins at 8:00AM. If you have a child running the Kiddie Races, we will have some Charlestown High School National Honor Society and Volleyball Team members available to play games with kiddos on the football field while parents are running/walking the 5K race.
The Kiddie Races begin approximately between 8:45AM-9:00AM. We try to wait until most of the 5K participants are finished.
Henryville Basketball, Coach Hill to host skills camp to benefit #TeamIliad this Saturday at HHS
This Back to School skills camp will be held on August 25th and is hosted by HHS Basketball. All proceeds will benefit the family of Iliad Mullins. Iliad is an almost 6 month old who was recently diagnosed with a rare brain cancer, has undergone surgery, and will be relocating with his family to Memphis TN. to receive the best treatment possible for his little body.
The camp cost is $15, T-Shirts are also for sale for $15.
Sellersburg Celebrates continues through the weekend
Check out the Parade starting this Saturday morning at 10:00 am. Booths, rides and food throughout the day, with live music by the Willis Tucker Band kicking off the entertainment at 7:30. The Leota Country Frolic continues Saturday
The Leota Country Frolic was established in 1982 to benefit the Finley Township Volunteer Fire Department. Today you can find Bluegrass Music, Food, a Talent Showcase, Flea Market and an Antique Farm Machinery Show just to name a few. This quaint little community is at the crossroads of Leota Rd and Bloomington Trail in rural Scott County.
