Rose Island Playhouse Announces Dates for Upcoming “Death and Taxes” Production

Law and Order?  CSI Las Vegas?  CSI New York? CSI Miami?  CSI Hendricks—huh? Are you as good at solving murder mysteries as the actors on television? If so, come and join the zany citizens of Hendricks.  They need help in solving a mysterious stranger’s murder.

Rose Island Playhouse invites you to attend Pat Cook’s hilarious comedy, Death and Taxes, on September 21st, 22nd, 28th, and 29th at 7:30 p.m. and September 23rd and 30th at 2:00 p.m. at the Charlestown Arts and Enrichment Center at 999 Water Street, Charlestown.

The cast includes: Karen Wilson as Mayor Lyles, Phil Hartzell as ace reporter Eddie King, Gary Tipton as redneck resident Carl Johansen, Ric Martin as clueless Sheriff Wesley Thorne, Rudy Clark as nosy neighbor Cora Sedgewick, Joe Sceifers as small town doctor Efrem Bishop, Lynn Moore Smith as high school drama teacher Evelyn Martindale, Pepper Fleming as Carl’s no- nonsense wife Mattie and Reagan James as ditzy secretary Lydia Kleft. The play is directed by JoAnn Kime and Julie Hartzell.

Tickets are $10 for nonmembers, $9 for Rose Island members and $8 for groups of 10 or more. All major credit cards are accepted.
