JayC in Charlestown, located at 9501 County Road 403, cut the ribbon on the new ClickList Service on Friday, September 7th. Local management and staff, regional personnel, and Mayor Bob were on hand to kick off this new convenience offering for Charlestown shoppers. The ClickList service allows you to place your grocery order online in advance, pull up to the designated parking spaces clearly labeled on the northeast end of the store, and have your order brought to your vehicle by friendly JayC staff. Your first three orders are free, after which there is a $4.95 convenience fee. This service has been widely used by customers where it has been operating for a while, and it joins the recently added Self-Checkout service, inside the store, that provides another convenience feature for store patrons.
According to Store Manager Greg Grimes, with the addition of Self-Checkout and ClickList, the number of checkout locations has jumped from 7 to 10. 15 total employees have been added at the Charlestown location, and the store is looking to hire more. All this is in addition to the store makeover, completed within the past year, that has dramatically updated the look and feel of JayC.

We understand people have busy lives and that they want options.
