This musical follows Alfie Byrne – a bus driver in 1964 Dublin whose is attempting to stage an amateur production of Oscar Wilde’s Salome in the local church hall. Alfie and his eccentric group of actor friends face amusing and dramatic challenges as they fight against bigotry and shame to open the play. This tender and beautiful musical explores love, friendship, and coming to terms with who we truly are.
