From CPD: A few friendly reminders to all our fellow Charlestown residents; especially if you were unable to attend last week’s Neighborhood Watch Meeting:

1. Please report any and all suspicious activity, criminal activity, or just information you think the Charlestown Police Department needs to know about; at your earliest possible opportunity.

2. If ANY suspicious or criminal activity is IN PROGRESS (currently going on or just happening-needing immediate police investigation) CALL 911.

3. If ANY suspicious or criminal activity is otherwise NOT IN PROGRESS and not currently going on NOT requiring immediate police investigation or action; consider emailing the department at online@ctownpd.com or via our tip line at 812-256-2473 (CHPD), or via the dispatch non-emergency phone number at 812-246-6996 or 812-256-6345 option #6.

TAKE IT UPON YOURSELF, AND BEHALF OF YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD, TO MAKE SURE YOUR POLICE DEPARTMENT KNOWS WHAT’S GOING ON IN YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD AND COMMUNITY……ALL INFORMATION PROVIDED TO THE DEPARTMENT IS VALUABLE, TRACKED, AND USED BY THE DEPARTMENT’S OPERATIONAL COMMUNICATIONS.
