Rose Island Theater Auditions for “The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church” to be held on Saturday, December 8th

Rose Island Community Theater
 will hold AUDITIONS for Bo Wilson’s hilarious comedy The Charitable Sisterhood of the Second Trinity Victory Church on Saturday, December 8, 2018 between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Charlestown Public Library at 51 Clark Road in Charlestown, Indiana.  If you are unable to attend auditions on Saturday,please call 502-432-3279 or 502-263-9099 to schedule another date and time.  Auditions are cold readings from the script.   Resumes and headshots welcome but not required.  Appointment is not necessary.

CAST: 5 Women: Tina Yates-originally from Baltimore, she enjoys being a Yankee, Lorraine Jensen-she’s lived here all her life. She has nine children, at last count, Bea Littleton-the wife of Pastor Hiram Littleton and happy to let you know it. Janet Murchison-attractive, cultured, newly arrived from Georgia and still settling in, Riley Reynolds-early 20swhose story will be revealed later.

Synopsis: The roads are flooded, the bridges are washed out, and less generous souls are staying safely indoors, but it takes more than a little rain to keep the ladies of the Charitable Sisterhood from fulfilling their sworn mission. These five angels of mercy will leave you breathless with laughter as they do their best to help the victims of global disaster, spiritual deprivation and, most of all, one another. The charitable sisters are more like the women of Steel Magnolias, with a few unexpected twists.

The performances dates are March 8, 9, 10, 15, 16, and 17, 2019. Rehearsals are on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. A read thru will be held on Monday, January 7th. at 7:00 p.m. at the Charlestown Arts & Enrichment Center.
