North Clark Outreach Center Elf Tree program an opportunity to help local children this Christmas

The North Clark Outreach Center’s “Elf Tree” holiday assistance program pairs children of struggling families in our community with sponsoring individuals or groups who help provide clothing and toys for Christmas.

Each child comes with a list of wants and needs – grab an elf off the tree, take it to the desk at the location and they’ll send you home with their list.

The gifts are due by December 10th. You can also make a monetary donation to the North Clark Outreach Center if you want to help but don’t have time to shop.

You can pick up an Elf from the trees at the following Charlestown area locations:

❄️ The New Washington State Bank

❄️ First Savings Bank

❄️ Jay-C Food Store #57 Charlestown

❄️ Anytime Fitness Charlestown

The gifts are due by December 10th to allow time for distribution by the 14th. Be sure to keep your “Elf” number and turn it in with the items so they can be paired with the correct child.

You can also make a monetary donation to the North Clark Outreach Center if you want to help but don’t have time to shop. Their volunteers will handle the shopping for you. The cost to sponsor a child is around $125 – $150. This provides them with a coat, hat and gloves, clothing, pajamas, and a few items from their “toy” requests.
