Live, Dine and Play like a Caesar beginning December 2019
ELIZABETH, Ind. (May 15, 2019) – As progress is made on Horseshoe Southern Indiana’s land based-casino, officials announced today it will open as Caesars Southern Indiana part of the internationally-known Caesars gaming and entertainment brand. With completely new gaming facilities, increased amenities and new restaurant offerings on the way, Caesars Southern Indiana will elevate the entertainment experience to a new level for the Kentuckiana region.
The $85 million project creates a 100,000-square-foot integrated gaming and entertainment facility. The new project will allow Caesars to combine dining, retail, entertainment and all your favorite slot machines, table games, and poker in one space.
“When guests visit our casino, it will be an entirely new experience,” said Horseshoe Southern Indiana Senior Vice President and General Manager Brad Seigel.
“Enhancements to the guest experience will include many new sights and sounds, but what will be familiar to them is our friendly Team Members, always ready to make their visit memorable.”
The new casino will feature new, modern amenities including:
– Wide variety of real slot machines, table games, and poker
– New feature bar and lounge, Volt Lounge, with live entertainment each weekend and craft cocktails
– Juno Bar in the center of the gaming floor with several large flat screen TVs encircling the top of the bar
– New VIP Lounge with outdoor balcony and High Limits gaming areas complimented by a private parlor
– Non-smoking gaming area
– Sportsbook for on-site sports betting
In addition to the new spacious, one-story casino and entertainment upgrades, guests can expect to “Dine Like a Caesar” at the new Piazza with five restaurants, offering a wide variety of dining options. Renovations also are underway to existing meeting and convention spaces.
“In Roman times, Caesar lived the best life,” said Horseshoe Southern Indiana Vice President of Marketing Renee Nadeau. “When we open as Caesars Southern Indiana, all of our guests can Live Like a Caesar in their own way, in gaming, dining and entertainment.”
Horseshoe Southern Indiana will continue to operate as normal during the renovation. Officials expect the Caesars Southern Indiana land-based casino to open this December with restaurants and other amenities to follow in early 2020.
