Coming to Charlestown starting May 29 (3 – 6 p.m.) is a Farmers’ Market where shoppers can find the freshest produce, natural products, and beautiful crafts from local farmers, craftsmen, and artists. The vendors will be set up on the lawn of Community Presbyterian Church located at 1370 Monroe Street, Charlestown.
There you will find fresh flowers, plants, herbs, beeswax candles, soy candles, natural bath products such as soaps, bath bombs, lotions, salves, and many others.
Try some of the natural honey from a local bee keeper. Those who enjoy local honey claim that it helps fight allergies. For those who want to enjoy the freshest of eggs for breakfast, both hen and duck eggs are available.
Quality craftsmen will be offering their items including: bat houses, wood items, precious fabric memories, hand crafted knitted items, and many others.
Our vendor of the week is a young lady selling geraniums. She is raising money for a mission trip to Poland. Come out and support her by purchasing geraniums for your home or your church. She is offering five colors of flowers.
The vendors will offer a variety of produce as it becomes available.
There are no fees or dues for vendors to participate in the Farmers’ Market. Just contact us, let us know what you plan to sell, and come set up. There is plenty of room for many more! If you are interested in participating as vendor, or need more information, please call Donna at 502-645-1886.
