Clark County 4-H’s Luv-a-Lot Lama Club participated in the Indiana State Fair Llama & Alpaca Show on Friday, August 2nd, opening day. The club showed in four events: Showmanship, Public Relations, Obstacle, and Pack, competing in three age categories: Junior (grades 3-5), Intermediate (grades 6-8), and Senior (grades 9-12).
Placing in Junior Showmanship were Tobey Wilder in 7th and Aleah Byers in 9th. Hannah Bast placed 9th in Senior Showmanship.
Within the Public Relations class, Tobey Wilder Placed 3rd and Aleah Byers 4th in the junior division. Susie Peak was 9th in the intermediate division, and Elaina Morris placed 1st in the senior division.
Obstacle class followed, with Tobey Wilder placing 7th in the beginner division, Susie Peak placing 1st in intermediate, and Hannah Bast placing 10th in the senior division.
The Pack class placings were Aleah Byers in 6th and Tobey Wilder 9th in junior division. Adam Peak placed 6th and Elaina Morris 7th in the senior division.
Other participating members were Andy Leppert and Cletus Traub. Accompanying the club and cheering them on was Mini4-H club member Lizzy Leppert. The Indiana State Fair will continue through August 18.
