Charlestown resident named one of Indiana’s 40 Emerging Leaders

Tobin Williamson of Charlestown was recently selected to be a part of the 2019-2020 cohort of Indiana’s Emerging Leaders Project. The Emerging Leaders Project is an independent, non-profit organization that provides free training to up to 40 Indiana residents each year. This year’s class is the 7th year of the partnership between the Emerging Leaders Project and the Indiana Democratic Party. Williamson was one of four to be selected from Indiana’s Ninth Congressional District, and the only resident selected from Clark County.
Williamson, age 34, is a 2009 graduate of the University of Central Arkansas (Geography and International Relations dual major). He also holds a Master of Arts degree from the University of Louisville (Bioethics) and a Master of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (Political Science). Williamson has worked for three U.S. Congressmen, two Consulates General, and is currently employed at KentuckianaWorks in Louisville, KY.
